Dubai beaches

...and finally...it's Beach Time!!!

After a long, hot, sweating summer, finally the ''good season'' is back and we can hit the beach again!!!

The most popular beach in Dubai is Jumeirah Beach (running along Jumeirah Road), a long stretch of beach with soft and white sand.....

There are some beautiful hotels and private marinas but the majority is public beach!

Here some  images taken near Burj Al Arab....enjoy!!!!

Dubai-Ras Al Khaima

Another get-away from the city is the Emirate of Ras Al Khaima at about 1h./1h. 30m. from Dubai (depending on the traffic).

I have been to an amazing hotel there: Banyan Tree Al Wadi, a 5 star desert resort in the middle of a natural reserve where you can easily spot wild animals like camels, wild gazelles, oryxes.

The planning of the hotel is developed in separated constructions well incorporated with the environment and are inspired by traditional Arabic Architecture (with Bedouin elements); you can chose between tented villas with private pool, pool-villas, beachfront villas.

Includes also a Golf Club, Falconry Mews, Beach Club, Stables, restaurants of course and other facilities.

The most impressive is the SPA, where you can enjoy very relaxing treatments.....with the famous Rainforest!

The atmosphere is absolutely unique, you feel like isolated and surrounded by nature, a real OASIS in the desert!

Check out the pictures I took there!!!!

Dubai - Eating Out

One of the fancy things to live in Dubai is that the options of restaurants for eating out are practically never ending.

You can find any kind of food at any price.

Today I will propose an Asian menu I tasted in an Asian restaurant in Mirdiff City Centre.

Shrimps ''clouds'' widh sauce.

Yum Seafood Soup, chicken and meat Satay, Spring Rolls, Mango juice.

Stir fried Hammur with sauce, Sticky Rice, Panan gai.
Yummy!!!!!
